So I'm supposed to write a cumulative distribution function for..

f(x) =
{ 10/x^2, x > 10
{ 0, x <= 10

and have absolutely no idea where to begin. I thought that right there is what the cdf is, and google results seem to suggest that the cdf takes that form. What do I need to do??

the cdf is the integral of the pdf from -infinity to infinity. you should be able to solve your problem with this info
