If you had $50,000 given to you, and didn't want to look back 20 years from now regretting how you spent it: What would you do?

I'll trade you strait up. $50,000 will buy you my 1996 GMC 1500 extended cab! No kidding, all this could be yours for not $50K, not $40K, but only THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS! For a limited time only.

In all seriousness dwell has a good idea. REAL ESTATE. Consider buying a duplex and renting it.

I would perosnally consider a rental property and putting some money into the market. Maybe buy some REITs and some banks.

Ahh, who am I kidding. I'd put all the cash in the market and go after stocks with atleast a 3% yield.

Go out and buy a HUGE stash of drugs,do them all in 3 months and you won't have to worry about remembering the $50,000.

In all seriousness,go out and buy a house :)

With a little luck, you waon't need any more money than the 50K$ because you'll be dead from all the drugs! It sounds win/win. Go with that option.

Actually, ya...if you don't own a home yet, now would be the perfecttime to start. You'll have no regrets about it, gaurenteed!

Save it. For right now, I'd put the majority in 5 year CDs or Bonds. You can get 5-6%. Put a minority of it in higher risk investments.

Then add a little each month. If you aren't saving at least 10% of your income, you'll be sorry down the road.

And yes, if you blow any of it (besides paying off high interest debt) you WILL look back a few years down the road and regret it.
