Do not be surprised when you get more emails on this from Corporate, and Security.

omg, that patch was applied weeks ago!

You have to remember that it has to be evaluated by the tech crew so that the patch itself doesn't cause immediate problems. The service packs for example have caused installation problems upon application.

I think they have blessed it and now are asking the installation base (pretty huge) to install it immediately.
