I can't connect any USB items to the computer whenever it starts up because it gets stuck on the screen that says "PLATINUM"

i have to unplug the flash drive, the joystick, and the hub, then reconnect them . . . what should i do?

Have you tried just using USB from back plate? Disconnect the internal USB headers. You have SP2?? ( I am assuming you are on WINXP)


I have heard there is a prob with USB pin orientation. Im not real sure if BIOS would fix a thing like that. I havent fired up my NEO4 yet, got another 2 weeks or so.

Anyone jump in? I have heard this before with these boards, and I would like to know too, If I run into same prob.

i havnt tried that yet, seeing as how i didnt need it

btw, the front USB ports work, its the ones on the back that dont

edit; i dunno what i did, but all of a sudden, its working

I've seen this same complaint from many NF4 users.
