YAMET!! Problems with Palestinians in Control

i just read a newsweek Q&A with a top Palestinian official, Ahmed Korei, here

in it he says this:

This is a conflict of 100 years and therefore we have enough enmity

can someone explain this to me, how is this conflict for 100 years, when the state of Israel hasn't been in existence for 100 years and "palestinians" didn't even exist?

Its actually about 10,000 years old.

But the recent one is only 50 years...

They dont want peace they want victory except now that we have people that cannot admit defeat (Palestinians) now they want genocide.(they just wont say what they really want)

they= everyone and anyone

A similar anology is the Americans and the Indians the only way to win was genocide but luckily for us we only had to inderectly kill them with starvation and biological weapons.

100 years ago is when the Jewish immigration to what was then Ottoman controlled Palestine began in earnest. At that time the Jewish immigrants were legally purchasing large blocks of land from wealthy Ottoman and Palestinian landowners who had previously been leasing the land to Palestinian peasants. This migration was the start of the modern conflict as the two groups increasingly began to step on each others toes.

No, we did a pretty damn good job of killing them directly.

We did a good job on both fronts but. The inderect method killed more of them.
