Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have done more good than harm. But they are not our leaders and don't speak for all black people.
We do graduate from college even from Ivy league schools.
AA only mostly applys to government jobs and those who work with government mostly. So if a black person has a job sitting next to you and your business is not in the preceding statement 9 times out of 10 he fucking earned it.

This is just a sample of the thinking that is put forth here. I am not a politcally correct person, but it has become nauseating. And I don't care if they don't like me because I am loud mouthed, bleep them. If anyone ever read about black people and used what is posted here as a resource, they would shoot us on sight. The internet is full of boards where you can talk down and name call black people 24/7. Why can't these bastards go there?

I am in florida actually...but I agree. It's bullshit the racial stuff that flies and at the end of the day the people doing it believe they were not being racial.

I do disagree though when it comes to minorities always earning their positions. Down here in Florida one of the biggest problems now is many jobs are requiring English and Spanish or Creole even...so a lot of more qualified people cannot get the job.

It would be more acceptable if this was just because of the customers, but there is some debate on these secondary languages are needed to communcate with staff members.

What really gets my goat is when a store associate starts the conversation with me in SPANISH and then acts like this was somehow my issue for not knowing it too.

I do think people lose track of race and social status level as well as the real statistics.

Oh okay. Never been to Fla. I hear you on the spanish thing. We have been having our daughter learn spanish in school. At the rate we are going spanish will be as prevalent as english here in this country.

You know I am starting feel calmer. I guess my venting is done.............:)

I personally know some great black people. I mean they are just really nice, good people. However, I believe there are different types, just like all races. There are black people, and there are thugs/"****as" just like there are white people and then white trash/hicks. I'm not racist, I'm intelligence-ist :p. I hate the lowest common denominator of all races; white trash probably the most.

Looks like the title in the OP was correct. These suspects have now been formally charged with a Hate Crime against a transgender person.

" A hate crime charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine, which could be added to the 25 year maximum for the assault charge Brown already faces.

Prosecutors "came to the only possible conclusion in deciding to try the assault on Chrissy Lee Polis as a hate crime," said Lynne Bowman, the interim executive director of Equality Maryland. "Lack of understanding or fear about someone who is transgender is never an excuse for violence and when it occurs, it should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.""

LOL! Attorney for one of the thugs. Self defense? So attacking somebody on the ground in the fetal position, attempting to kill them with a ghetto stomp to the head or kicking to the basal brain and then dragging them out in the parking lot to finish the job is "self defense"?

Brown's attorney, Timothy P. Knepp, declined to discuss the case in detail but said "anything that happened, happened in self-defense."

Brown is "a well-mannered, thoughtful young lady, and I firmly believe that when this case comes to trial, she'll be found not guilty," Knepp said. He said hate crime charges "certainly do not apply in this case."

Isn't that obvious.. he is pro-white Republican and Anti- any thing else.

Which is really funny in this thread because somehow he needs to find a way to hate on both the victim and the attackers.
