YAMBT. Which bike?

I've been saving some money towards getting myself a mountain bike. I've come to realzie though that what I need isn't a traditional mountain bike. I don't live in the moutains. I don't like on a dirt trail. I live in a flat city in a valley. That said, I'm not looking for a road bike either. What I want is something I can ride short distances on (not typically more than 3 miles), and have fun with. I want to jump it over things and ride off ledges and stuff. I grew up skateboarding and I want to be able to play with my bike as well as ride it on trails and roads.

So, I think I've narrowed it down to two suitable bikes that aren't too expensive (I used three different words that sounds the same in that sentence).

Specialized P.2
Kona Scrap

Both are by reputable manfacturers, and are pretty comparable. The Specialized is a bit more expensive, but not enoguh that it would be a huge factor.... I'd probably be happy with either bike, but I just can't make up my mind.

Yep, MTB is what makes sense to me. I ride a Specialized FSR XC so I can't condone your buying a Kona but do what you will!😉

Peace and be safe!

those are some serious jump bikes!

i guess the p.2
it has an 8" front roter, boxguide, and deore rear derailleur. Don't kill yourself, huckster! 😛
