yamaha rx v650 turn on video display

Trying to turn on video display so I can fine tune the reciever, but can't get the video display to appear on the tv. I need help

You need press AMP on the remote and then On Screen Display near the D-Pad.

I don't remember if this receiver outputs the OSD over Component video (the manual doesn't indicate that it doesn't), so try connecting with composite video just to be sure.

The OSD won't show up if you have the display connected with the REC out.
