Great price. Just checked out Amazon on this item...love the knuckleheads that gave this drive a bad review. "I can't copy cd-to-cd at 16X so this drive stinks" or "can't make burns at 16x so get the Plextor with burnproof". I should write a review with some catch phrases like "is your hard drive defraged" or "do you have 20 icons next to your clock in the taskbar" or "good luck on the cd-to-cd burn at 16x" or better yet..."if the Yammie didn't burn at 16x but it worked at 8x chances are the Plextor with burnproof is going to take just as long". Burnproof only prevents buffer underruns, if it runs into problems it too will yake longer to burn a cd so that 16x burn may take 8x time. Jeez! Bad reviews are one thing, complete idiocy should not be allowed to count as a bad review.
