Yamaha DSP-3090 trouble????????

[Tool fool]

The component selector button wont steady on the selected component.
In other words: if I have it selected on "Tuner". It my hold for a few seconds or even a minute. Then it flickers to other components. Like CD - VCR - Phono etc.....
The unit is presently useless.
Has anyone experienced this ???
I realize it's an outdated unit but it would be perfect for music in the shop/garage.
Where in the Tampa area can I take it or is it not worth the expense ??
