Hi,

I"m looking into an acoustic guitar and i found a IBANEZ PF5-NT that i really liked, but i also found a couple online at costco and i was wondering if any of those two in the title are good beginner acoustic guitars?

yamaha C40 or F310PR??

Thanks,

hmmm... was looking for the c40 on yamaha's website, couldn't quite find it... so, i would recommend the F310... my roommate bought a slightly older model yamaha (F335), and it sounded pretty nice for a beginner guitar... altho', after he got the action lowered, it felt a lot better than it did stock...

looking back at my learning stage, the beginner guitar for me was just that: a beginner guitar. i learned on a squier affinity strat electric guitar, and often messed around with my roommate's F335... after a while, i decided i needed to move on, and so i bought a seagull s6 cutaway acoutsic electric, and the extra couple hundred bucks really made a difference...

moral of the story: pick up what you can afford and what feels best to you, and start saving now for a really nice guitar that you can upgrad to once you feel comfortable with your guitar playing... happy guitar playing =)

I was hoping this thread was going to be about motorcycles, or at least speakers or outboard engines.
