Ya'll choose what I should bake today (4th of July)

i'll be baking my heart out with another family member later today (so much for being outdoors, huh???!!!). she's already picked out recipes we're gonna attempt, and i won't really know 'til i get there. background on her = she's more of a frou-frou eater, same goes with her baking, so gawd knows how long it's gonna really take us or how messy things will get. :laugh: on the other hand, i like baking simple stuff like cookies, cakes...u know none of the extra steps like refrigerating the dough, using a gazillion utensils or bowls, spending more than 15 minutes doing any kind of decorating.

now that ya'll know that...i've narrowed down MY own selection for today's bake-fest (hmmm, maybe "bake-mess" would be a better term 😀) to 3 recipes (all from Sam the Cooking Guy's website)...seemingly any of the 3 will only take 5 minutes to prepare...and i only want to do one. i did mention that my partner-in-crime will probably have me exhausted from all the steps we'll likely be doing for her recipes, right? LOL.

your mission should you choose to accept it---is to select which recipe sounds the yummiest to you (in alphabetical order):

- Blueberry Cinnamon Ring
- Easy Bunuelos
- Peach Cobbler

poll will promptly close at 1pm EST, hahaha. and oh yeah, here's a virtual cookie for you voting.

EDIT: virtual cookie not working; here's a :beer:cheers:wine: to you instead.

Update (July 5th, the day after)
:

A BIG THANKS TO THE 8 PEOPLE WHO VOTED. was going to make Peach Cobbler (honestly!!), until i saw the fresh blueberries at the grocery store!

here's Sam The Cooking Guy's recipe for Blueberry Cinnamon Ring:
* 2-10 ounce cans (24) refrigerator biscuits, seriously
* 2 cups frozen blueberries, small berries if you can find them
* 1/3 cup lemon juice
* 1 cup sugar
* 1 tablespoon cinnamon
* butter

made several modifications:
- could only find refrigerated biscuits that had 10 in 'em (so had 20 biscuits & not 24)
- used 2 cups fresh blueberries
- used 1 1/2 cup sugar and like 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon

the cake didn't look anything like the video clip. ours was more syrupy. we also sprinkled powdered sugar on top. overall taste: yummmmm! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
