I have a serious issue that maybe can be helped with advise. I work for a MAJOR corporation and am the manager at my location. Recently it was brought to my attention that one of our major production facilities came to a stand still because Kristen failed to flush the cleaning agents from the system during nightly maintanance. While I can see any one can make a mistake once but this is the third time and call me a fool once but the third times the charm. Ok so the EASY advise would be to fire Kristen but I believe in being an enabler and think she could do well with another warning. Her bonuses are she is often ontime, 110% committed, and usually works hardly and is very cute like a young Charlies angles. Can anyone be perfect? No! So what do you feel?

Don't let your weiner do your thinking for you.

If you feel she has potential, she may be in the wrong position. Try to find a position more suited to her. She's forgotten three times. She's not going to suddenly just start remembering.

Cuteness is not a job attritibute except at Hooters.

If you do fire her, make sure you have CYA.

Edit: She should be given some unpaid time off to get her aware of the importance of doing her job. If your company policy allows for this.

Your weiner statement is quite frank and earnest. You are right in that I could see to move her to our fast-product window line. She would have responsibilities that just deal with customer interaction and delivery there would be no cleaning involved this way she could be a cuteness for our customers as well. Maybe I will talk to her regarding this, thanks for good aspirations.

If you gave her previous warnings, fire her. Three times is too much if she is making you lose a lot of money each time.

Major production facility came to a stand still for the third time? How many times more before you get a clue?
Does someone have to get hurt first?

You make points well but even though I work for a MAJOR corporation it is hard to replace workers in this area. Customers were missing their products when Kristen made her mistake but she is a worker and cute. I think the fast product line might be good for her and will expound her learnings and set the example for the other employees that mistakes will not be tolerated.

This is beyond the boundaries and intolerated at our workplace though I have wondered if she was liking me she is only 17. With that age and my age and my place of managment it would be wrong.

What kind of organization lets someone this young and incompitent be in charge of a whole production facility. Either the coroporation isn't really that MAJOR or the production facility is responsible for producing something really lame that nobody could give a crap about anyway.

WE are a MAJOR corporation and we produce enough food each day to feed over 3000 customers EVERY day. Yes Kristen was in charge of our Frosty machine but we have to learn our workers so they are encouraged to reach for the sun. It doesn't really matter what corporation I work for but that it is big and you have been there and if you were wanting a job I doubt I would hire someone with your attitudes. I asked for advise not backtalk.

PS you misspelled incompatent buttwipe.

Why do you keep capping MAJOR. You know how many companies are consider MAJOR? I bet a significant amount of us work for a MAJOR corporation too. Even, even teenagers here do. McDonald's, Burger King, Kroger's, Stop & Shop, etc. are all MAJOR corporations.

Is your MAJOR corporation Friendly's?:p

/MAJOR rant out:D

wait, wait, wait. she fubared the frosty machine?!?!?!? i've boycotted Wendy's locations for that. if i wanted a crappy shake i'd go to mcdonalds, :barf;, but you can only get a frosty at wendy's. without the frosty you've brought yourself down a peg.

personally, i'd get rid of her and get another <18 year old to take her place.

PS. you spelled incompetent wrong too, ass.

It's funny how people try to make their job sound important when they are just the shift manager down at the local Wendy's.

I wanted to keep a civil toungue regarding this discussion and to keep my corporation name out so as not to murky the waters but I see now the inferior complexes at work. My job IS important have you ever looked into the eyes of 3000 hungry people? I didn't think so and I do every day, except on my Tuesdays off. And before you correct my spelling believe me when I say I know more language than you will know a lifetime, I may have spelled incompatent wrong but believe me when I spell buttwipes. People look to me for guiding and leading and I give them that what do you give nothing I say in fact you give so little you may be worthy of some chili surprise if you ever stop by my store.
