Can anyone give me any idea as to who to put for some references in job application? (non-related).

I'm thinking about putting down two professors from college that I did extremely well in their class and I've talked to on occasion. But should I just limit it to one since they're the same profession?

Theres 3 spots. Don't know what to fill it up with. Not in any clubs or anything.

Also say you go to an interview and then you are accepted. Is it expected that you take the job then?

Academic advisors work, former bosses work, anyone that will vouch you're a hard worker (that you're not related to) will work pretty much.

Whatever you do, make sure you get the persons permission first. It's very important, if you blindside someone by putting their name down without asking, then they get called by your potential employer, they may give you a bad reference.

Other than that, haven't had a job until about 4 years ago in high school. Doubt they would remember me. =P

I'm just looking for any other ideas possibly. Maybe a family friend? Does that work?

Ah now theres a great idea! Unfortunately, I don't know any as I never became religious. Or at least to the point where I could use them as a reference.
