I'm currently in this position in Atlanta, GA:
The <job title> is the first level support contact for end user PC issues. Support duties include maintaining desktop and notebook PCs in a live and functional research environment. This responsibility will quickly evolve into a pilot manufacturing environment conforming to FDA GMP requirements.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
? Provide Helpdesk support of Windows XP platforms to support end users by identifying, researching and resolving technical problems via phone, email and hands-on requests.
? Provide technical support to executives and board members.
? Support a Microsoft Server environment by: maintaining company WAN/LAN/Wireless network, performing server backups, maintain end-user data, account administration, and first level support for helpdesk requests.
? The <job title> will eventually be responsible for management of an IP based phone system (will provide training).
? Perform regular updates to company's public Internet and private confidential Intranet Websites.
Requirements:
? Three or more years of IT support experience in a Microsoft Server 2000/2003 Active Directory environment.
? Ability to work non-standard business hours from time to time to perform server upgrades, maintenance and system recovery tasks.
? Possess an expert level of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
? A solid understanding of Network configurations and Security.
? Experience with Windows Domain Administration with active directory and group policies.
? Good written, oral communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally.
? Be extremely detail-oriented and posses strong organizational skills.
Desired skill/experience areas:
? Microsoft Exchange 2003 administration
? Microsoft SQL and Oracle Databases
? Microsoft SMS asset management and software deployment
? Microsoft SharePoint 2003 Services
? Web Development Experience with Macromedia Flash
