YAJT: Friend of mine received offer...

A friend of mine received an offer for 65k, later when he got his offer later it did not state annual salary but just bi-monthly salary which totals to 55k.

He does not want to loose offer but at the same time curious to know what's going on?

What is the best possible strategy without offending anyone and loosing the offer?

No it was as he said 65 k plus 5 k signing bonus....5k is still there!

Maybe he has a probationary period to go thru before he gets raised to the final salary.

Contact the company that made the offer.

Explain that he was told that the offer was 65+5; however the offer letter states 55+5.

Make sure that he can identify who stated the 65+5 to him.
