So I'm no longer a dork in college raging against the corporate machine; now I'm being assimilated into it.
So here's a dilemma that might sound stupid but, the company I'm interviewing for exports and imports internationally asparagus and berries. They love the color the green, as dictated in all of their company pictures and outings. I also have a very nice dress collar shirt that is a silver-green solid color, but I don't know if I should wear it.
I could go with the conservative interview blue, but don't know if that will make me another boring black suit-tie-blue collar interview guy.
This question sounds stupid but I hear dress really is a huge thing on an interview along with your resume and the way you present yourself to the questions. I got the other parts pretty much down to a science since I've already talked to them twice through the phone and now this is the final interview whether or not I'll get through.
So I've gotten a haircut, some nice shoes, a new suit, polished my glasses and ready to yell at kids to get off my lawn if I get hired. Just need an opinion on the dress shirt to the interview to get the ball rolling.
Any other tips from current/previous job seekers or HR managers would be great too.
