YAJT: Don't you love the feeling...

So, I just got a position working help-desk for a major Ontario ISP (Cogeco Cable). Starting pay is 16.22 an hour, and I'm guaranteed 40hrs for 8 weeks, then minimum 20hrs after that.

I currently work at Future Shop. Basically the Canadian Best Buy. We are getting royally screwed for hours. I was promised 40hrs a week at the beginning of the summer, and then found out I could get 10 HOURS. I was a little pissed. Not to mention I've been working there a year, and still make 8 bucks an hour.

I can now safely tell my bosses at future shop to kindly STFU if they jerk me around any more, and still be in great financial shape. The only reason I'm still working there is because of the perks (items at cost + 10%, Employee purchase plans).

I LOVE IT!

My experience, and many others, is never to burn bridges, ever. Also telling your boss to stfu just shows how much class you have.

Take the high road my friend. 🙂

Well, not LITERALLY tell them to STFU. I wanna keep the references. But I can afford to lose the job and all the stupid BS that comes with it. "OH NOES YOU DIDN'T SELL A RETARDEDLY OVERPRICED CABLE WITH THAT PRINTER OMGZ"
