(Yet Another Job Thread)
I'm graduating from college this December as a Media arts student (film, TV, audio ect) and just recently I interviewed for a position as a morning editor for a local morning news program.
I got the job, but when I came in today I found they wanted me to start working immediatly 4am to 8am at minimmum wage. Now I was aware of the hours and somewhat anticipated the crappy pay, but I wasn't expecting to go to work right away.
I am extremly busy with school right now as its the end of the semester and exams, projects, and papers are due. So I tried to see if they would take me on after school was over for me and they seemed reluctant to wait. I told them I'd be willing to work a few days a week until school ended, or even the weekends for free if they wanted. But I got the feeling they were losing interest, and I lost the job.
I'll call again a week before school ends to see if the job is still available, but right now it looks like I lost it.
