YAJLCT-what do you think about this??

YAJLCT=Yet Another JeffreyLebowski Car Thread

look at me

Guy said he'll do $4K for it. i'm gonna go look at it sat, and make sure it runs good an all, but this look like a good deal to all you mustang fans??

I know it will need a new headlight and some body work, but the headlight is the only concern for now so it will not get me pulled over.

Any idea how much a new one will cost??

Once i get this, the GF can drive my 4 door.

I'm so wishy washy about what car i want to get and basically in the next couple of months i can get two used cars that are paid off, and then sell mine off to get rid of the monthly payment, and have that money to pay for the new kid in the family.

Just beware of buying others' projects/problems. You never know WHAT you're in store for when you go to troubleshoot a problem, and don't ever kid yourself into thinking there won't be problems. Not to mention it looks like this car was built to be, and probably WAS driven.

This is especially true in a "hot rod" - I speak from experience. My car is a hot rod that I've pretty much completely rewired to MY satisfaction - anyone else looking at it would scratch their head while mumbling "WTF?!"

It'll all depend on what you intend to use the car for and what your experience with auto repair is. Would I buy this as a daily driver? No. Would I drive it with aspirations to make it a weekend warrior. Sure.

Four large is a LOT of coin to buy someone else's problems.

Just my two cents,
Steve
