I spent today getting my new subs placed and calibrated, so thought I'd make a thread 😛
I used this free program along with my Radioshack SPL meter to try to figure out the best placement for my room.

Wasn't able to get the best results, but of the ~12 locations I tried around the room, this configuration produced the best results at the listening positions.
So anyway... on to the pics 😉

My first try for positioning was up front with the speakers, but it basically produced very little output between 40 and 60hz with a huge hump at around 70 that combined with the hump that I already get from the speakers there and then also a large annoying hump at about 30hz.
Failed placement
It did look pretty good though 😉
In conclusion, go buy some rockets :laugh:
