Ok so here is the deal, in the new townhome I move into on July 1st the opening for the TV above the fireplace is too small for my TV.

See Pic

The cable wire runs into that hole above the fireplace, yet my TV needs to be on the stand on the floor. Anyone know how I can wirelessly feed the video to my TV, while keeping the electronics (receiver/cable-DVR/dvd player) in the cubbyhole above the fireplace?

I am open to any other options and ripping a hole and pulling the cable out is not an option.

I know X10 used to have products like this. I would also think that video degradation would probably be a problem even at a small range, with that being said I would simply get a cable box and then run a cable from the box to the tv. You'll probably have cables coming out anyways to goto your speakers from the receiver and other electronics so just add a coax cable to the mix.
