Starting yesterday, I had a pain in my neck. Usually a good night's sleep helps but not this time. I'm thinking sitting in front of the computer for work is probably the cause. My neck hurts when I try to turn my head. Is it better for me to stretch the muscles by turning my head or move as little as possible and let it loosen?

It's probably cancer.

But seriously.. I've had the same thing from bad posture in front of a computer. There are some stretches you can do during the day to help greatly, but they are kind of difficult to describe over the internet. Maybe look into seeing a physical therapist if the problem continues. That's what I did.
