Tuesday and Wednesday, all I heard were old shows from the day after 9/11 and this morning they were winning a "sold out, hard to get" new XBOX :D

Sooo.... are they just on vacation this week, or did he quit for a few days to piss everyone off?

Anyone know?

HowardStern.com doesn't have any news for the last 5 days either.

He may be in Vegas or something.. and also I heard that he's having his anus checked out for cancer during his time off.

He's just taking the week off, I think. I don't think there's anything sinister about it, since they are still playing Best Of. The Vegas trip is not until May, and his colonoscopy was a couple of weeks ago.

He's probably replaying shows from years ago due to the fact that the FCC wants to fine him for a show that was on years ago.

This publicity stunt ego battle of his is getting real old.

I support free speech and all, but I'm more sick of hearing about howard than I am will hung.

Every single word you said i agree with, except replace "is getting real" with "has gotten *@(#ing".

He's on vacation this week. He takes vacation over the week of Passover every year.

First of all, he's on vacation, so before talking out of thine arse, know what you're whining about. Hmmm, you don't know that when he's on vacation, he replays old shows? Does that mean you don't listen? So much for your 'publicity stunt' theory. How can you support free speech and not support Howard and what he's standing up for? Hypocrite. You just don't get it, do you?

Stern said, "You've got to vote Bush out to send a message as a Howard Stern fan"

Geez. Would people actually cast a vote for President solely based on whether they like Stern or not? I've heard of single-issue voters, but that's ridiculous. There are probably only 500,000 other more important factors.

More important than our first amendment?

That's not what I heard. I just heard on the news that CC was fined 450k because of him, though.

Clear Channel did drop Stern's show from the six CC stations that carried it.

And no one is a bigger believer in First Amendment rights than I am, but I have a difficult time convincing myself that lesbians, boobs, and scatological talk should be the reason for deciding my presidential vote.
