good news :) in the atot vse.marketwatch.com game I shorted all of my money in the prediction that this deal would fall through.

This news has already been priced into the market and everyone on Wall Street already knows about it.

Assuming Yahoo's stock drops 30%(back to the $18-19 range) in pre-market opening tomorrow, do you still plan to short?
If you do, your orders is more likely to be executed in the low $20's than the $29 range where it is now.

exactly. Then rumors of revised up bid start to circulate by desperate trapped people. Whether the offers come or not, the stock lifts and you get squeezed and panic buy to cover. Leave this dog alone.

After reading your post, I now want Yahoo to report a joint Google/Amazon offer of $45/share as their reason for their rejection. :p
