Huh... I was about to say, "Already done so." But it looks like I am still using IE 7. Well, off to upgrade then.

Looks like they've made some decent updates for IE8, too bad it's compatibility mode doesn't have one for IE6 compat....

How stupid is that if thats true, considering how many businesses have legacy applications that use IE6....

FF's plugins and extensions at this point can't be matched, so for me it's hands down the winner. You even get a double bonus that it's generally a lot safer to use than IE because it's not targetted by malicious software writers as much as IE is.

IE8 for me has been more reliable than FF3.

Same here, except exactly the opposite.

So far IE8 is a flaming pile of donkey dung as far as I'm concerned.

FF is really going to have to piss me off to make me change now that I'm used to it. None of them are really significantly better than the other. Just stick with what you know until something truly worth changing to comes out

Thanks. I'll stick with Netscape.

ROFL. I think I still have a couple of old disks with the Netscape browser from the mid-90's. Navigator 3 IIRC....and one or two with Communicator from the late 90's.
