I hope you are pointing and laughing at yourself there amnesiac, because you have no clue about what you are talking about. Sure some of the ads are bots, but they are easy to spot. If you have some other way to meet new people in a town you just moved to I would be more glad to listen. That is counting out clubs, bars and other meat markets.

To be honest I found one of my now-ex's on Yahoo personals a few years ago.
I think it works a bit better now that it's a pay site.

Because the ratio of women to really desperate nerdy guys is much less in the UK I'd imagine.
