My mom wants to use yahoo messenger and talk to our relatives across the globe who also use yahoo messenger. She wants to use it because she can use the webcam and see her nephews and all the little kids.
First off, is there one of those all-messengers-in-one program that works with a webcam?
If not, here, I need to try to find a way to fix it. I've downloaded the most recent version. I run it and when I try to log in, it says it can't connect and I should check the network settings.
I've tried getting the network settings to work and adjusting them doesn't fix anything. There's no proxy and no firewall. AOL Instant Messenger works fine with default settings so I don't know why yahoo messenger doesn't.
