Yahoo Maps Beta

Thanks, only thing I don't like about it; it uses Flash. Also, in Google Maps a 2x left click moves the map to the location and Yahoo moves and zooms. But the mouse wheel to zoom is a nice feature.

I've always been able to zoom with the mouse wheel in Google Earth, it's only backwards (up zooms out, down zooms in). 😕

Looks very good IMO. I actually posted this several weeks ago, but nobody replied. Then again, this is Google fanboi central.

I personally like the thumbnail in the corner as it makes panning over a medium distance a lot easier and wish Google would add it to theirs. I liked the overlay features too on the right (ATMs, restaurants, etc.)

slow, no satellite feature, no sallite + road overlay

theyre playing catchup
sorry, cant beat google

edit: again, still dont have my subdivision... which was built 6 years ago... google has a PHOTO of my car in my driveway.. yahoo doesnt even have the street

There online versions actually use multiple sources including navteq and teleatlas. But as far as I have read google earth and Goggle APIs use TeleAtlas only. I wonder about this new yahoo thing....
