Yahoo! mail

Hi everyone,

Problem: I can log into my Yahoo! mail account but i cannot access my mail. Inbox doesn't load. Everything I do after logging does not work, except for logging out.

Please help.

Thanks.

I have tried clearing my cache many times, it doesn't work. I even tried resetting winsocket.

Maybe I should start with my router. I'm connected to the internet with SBC Yahoo!. Today I added a router and the ethernet card was picking up this 169.255.x.x After resetting my router, web access was back on. I can browse the web okay. I just couldn't check my email.

I am sure it's not Yahoo's problem, but my computer. I once had the problem and i removed my profile (as in deleting myself as a user in XP..which erases everything i had, all the configuration and lots of files) and it started working.

probably the server your files are located on is down for now.

just wait a couple hours.

either that, or get a new email service 😛

Can you confirm you have no problems accessing it from a different machine ? And if you have the same problems, is that machine on the same LAN ? Have someone you trust outside your LAN to try logging on for your account.

Since I couldn't check my email with the desktop, I used my notebook that is connected to my dsl modem (2wire-home portal 1100) over this usb connection...it's working fine. As I mentioned earlier, my desktop is not directly connected to the modem but a d-link router via an ethernet card.

Alright...although no one was able to help, I do appreciate those who took the time to read my message. Thanks.

It was MTU at 1500, i changed it to 1492...and it's fine now.
