Yahoo! Mail users...

I use it all the time. I very rarely get spam in my inbox now, maybe once a month. I get at least 4 a day in the bulk mail folder.

You have to watch out, though, sometimes it mistakenly sends personal e-mails to the Bulk Mail folder as well.

I use it all the time, too. But I still get a hefty dose of spam in my inbox. How long have you been using your current email address?

Around four-five years. However, I have another address at mail.com that I've always used for anything I think might end up spamming me.

For the "this is spam" button to work, large amounts of people have to actively use it. Each time you select a message and hit the button it creates a flag against that user/mail domain. If enough people flag it then the system knows to stick it into the bulk mail file. I know this is way too simplistic of an explanation to describe the actual process and is only one portion of the spam blocking process but you get the idea. The button won't necessarily immediately block all spam, but will help build a case against it.
