I never checked the box to change over to the new improved yah mail, so lost access in July iirc, but noodled around and found out how to set up imap access, and surprisingly have access with outlook to this day ...
Even though I also never checked a box to agree to their updated TOS which basically allows yahoo access to content of emails, so as to target advertising, among other things ...
So basically what I'm asking of the anand cognoscenti is - Did Yahoo miss out on a loop hole, am I clever, or just what is going on ??? Why didn't every body else who hated the new mail and new tos do the same ?
(these are ~ 10 yr old accounts I've pretty much decided to abandon, before I'll agree to their new tos.)
Yeah, I guess I could attempt to contact Yahoo customer service, but I just don't need the aggravation.
