Yahoo IM on Mandrake 9.0?

Is there an easy way to load a client onto my linux box for yahoo chat?

Yahoo has for RH but not mandrake.

Install the version included with the distro, using the standard tool for highest ease of use.

YM for Linux works okay as well. You might have to force rpm to ignore dependencies, but it doesn't require Red Hat to work.

the version of gaim that came win Mandrake probably doesn't work. You need 0.71 for the latest yahoo authentication scheme.

tm37, first google for urpmi. When you use it, it upgrades all the packages that you need. Otherwise, you will learn to spend some quality time with rpmfind.net getting each one of the packages in that error message.
