Yahoo chat rooms in Ubuntu???

Ive tried wine no luck. I have both Xp in Vista in Virtual Box. I can get on and use the chatrooms listen to conversations but virtual box wont recognize my Mic. Anyone know a work around????? I know alot of people have this problem.
