Yahoo Calendar to iPhone/iCal/Google Calendar?

Lifer
My daughter's class parent has put the class's entire year's calendar of events in Yahoo Calendar. I would like to import that into my iPhone, either directly or via iCal or Google Calendar.

My online search has come up relatively empty. Many of the suggestions I have found do not work because either my Yahoo Calendar page, for some reason, does not have the feature described in the suggestions or because I cannot edit the class Yahoo Calendar (and thus, apparently cannot export/save it).

Has anyone been able to get the info from a Yahoo Calendar into iPhone/iCal/Google Calendar? If so, how?

Under Yahoo Calendar, click Options in the right corner. Then under Management, click Import/Export. Now look under Export to Outlook, and hit the Export button. That will save the file as a .CSV file.

Now go to your Google calendar.

1. Click the Add down-arrow button at the bottom of the calendar list on the left side of the page, and select Import Calendar.
2. Click Browse and choose the .CSV file that contains your events, then click Open.
3. Select the Google Calendar where you'd like to import events, then click Import.

I do not have edit privileges on this calendar, so 'options' is not available.

Then you will have to ask them to save it, and email it to you. Short of typing it over, that's the best way.

😀 I feel your pain, but if they can put it on yahoo, they should be able to do this.

It is a constantly changing thing, so getting it onto my iPhone now wont' be helpful in even a week. This needs to be a thing I can do on my own on and ongoing basis.

Oh, well. I guess I will just have to check the Yahoo Calendar periodically.

Do you know if they set it up as a group Calendar? If so, I think they can give you access where you can export it.
