I don't sell enough on eBay to switch to Yahoo! ... my family has probably sold 3 or 4 things.

Won't help much -- if you want to sell a widget, you'll find 100 potential bidders on eBay instead of 10 on yahoo, so odds are you'll still make more money using eBay despite the fees.

This is EXCELLENT news if you are a seller. I think this was a great move by yahoo defensively to try to gain some market share. This is AWESOME for the consumer who sells on eBay so that we can have some competition. The eBay Fee's have been getting out of hand as of late.

What is everyone's thoughts?
Agreed, but I've never even looked on yahoo auctions... LOL.

Yahoo auctions has been dead for years. This is a last minute attempt to revive it before they pull the plug lol. Theres not even enough people surfing those auctions to have a market for products - when people think auction they think ebay.

Yahoo! Auctions needs to commit seppuku ASAP. I feel embarrassed just browsing it out of curiosity.

Yahoo! Japan is amazing. I think they have the record for the highest stock price ever in the Japanese stock market.
