has anyone ever realised that hotmail has always been stingy with it's email services.
hotmail counts every message as 1kb, whereas yahoo mail counts every messages (almost) exact bits, and therefore, even if they both did have the same amount of storage, you would be able to get more emails with yahoo mail.
also, for yahoo mail, the junk mail folder doesn't account for any space used, whereas hotmail counts every single piece of mail, whether it is junk mail or normal mail.
i have also wondered, how do they setup the storage for these free email accounts? do they have disk farms that run in to petabytes, or what?
