YAHIT: Under cabinet lighting

About a year ago,I replaced the under-cabinet lights in my kitchen. 5 small fixtures, all flourescent. In the last 3 weeks, all 5 have died. Thank you, China, and thank you, Home Depot.

So I need to replace them, and have LED lighting on the brain - but don't want the blue color. My attraction to LED is the low-maintenance, long life it promises - so other lighting types that have those traits would be just fine. I want something hard-wired, to operate off of existing switches.

Anyone have suggestions on what to buy and where?

Thanks - though few of those pieces/sites mention what the light color temp/warmth.

Everything at theledlight seems to be on clearance, the NY Times article mentions specifically that the color might seem out of place in a home and Sunpark's online store has no products listed under LED under counter lights.

So I guess I should have asked - has anyone had direct experience with installing LED under counter lights, or have anything to recommend that they have personal experience with?

Go with halogen for a warm light. Led won't give you what you want.
