Dogs and guns don't count...

and why all the hate for monitored systems???...the few times I have had false alarms, they called within 10 minutes. And if you are on vacation or at work, isn't it better to know sooner than coming home and finding your stuff is gone? granted it will probably take the cops about 30 minutes to show up though...

 
we have one, we keep it on "HOME" while we are inside

there are keypads at each entrance (front and back) to easily turn it off and back on (in case someone rings the doorbell or we have to go out)

peace of mind (with it on) = a bajillion
 
have one, three keypads
we dont use it as regularly as we should
good peice of mind using over vacation though
