Yeah but I think it's almost better because now he has a way to find out whether a second date is a good idea. At the end of the date if he asks her for her number and she declines, he doesn't have any slow letdown. It's quick and painless.

hahaha you have a lot to learn 😉 1. there can be no 2nd date without a first date, and 2. 99% of the time a woman will give you her number at the end of a date if you ask, they never tell you straight out "no". they'll give it to you and never return your calls.

Well I'm assuming that he gets a first date. And I guess it's a false hope that girls become more upfront rather than playing their little games.

Just don't worry about it too much. In the dating game there is a whole lot of "i'll call" but they don't. Getting a girl takes effort and action - without even trying one just won't fall in your lap or walk up to you and say "you're hot and I'd like to take you out"

Then I'd move on, I'm not waiting for anything to happen, but if it does then thats just a bonus, if it doesn't then I just move on to the next one.
