YAGT: Yesturday was my Ex-GF's Birthday

She messaged me today about 1hr after midnight chiding me for forgetting her birthday and announcing that she'd call me on mine. :roll:

Didn't remember until I got home last night and I actually felt kind of bad. But after reading her little message I couldn't give a sh1t.

I'm not even sure why I keep in touch with her. Seems like it could end up just being bad news. Ex: She messaged me AGAIN this morning saying she'd be in my hometown in November and implied that she wanted to see me. Fvck that.

I used to do that too, but when a couple of them died one weekend I felt bad about it and decided in the future I should at least keep in touch (to the decent ones) once in awhile.

...but I don't even remember their birthday's much less call them specifically for that reason. Nor do I expect any calls on my birthday.

My ex's birthday is Saturday, I'll call her to wish her happy birthday, but that's just the way we are. We haven't talked much in the past few weeks because I cut off communication. she kept saying she wanted to work things out but then played too many games.

I actually ended up meeting and just started dating a friend of hers that she works with. My ex says she's cool with it, but we'll see. Anyway, I cared enough about my ex at one point to date her, the least I can do is wish her a happy birthday, especially considering I see her once a week or so in my "rounds".

It's different for different people I suppose.
