But then there's the fact that flying/driving gets expensive and, well, it's probably better for both of our social lives to be close to our S.O. I think i'll just see how things go. I got her to agree to let me buy her a milk shake, that's a start right?
 
4hrs... only if gauranteed to hit it. even then, that's a long drive. and an expensive plane ticket. i'd just stay home, but then again, i'm not a big fan of LD relationships
 
i complain about driving 1 hour to my gf's dad's house, or two hours to her apt. I hope you understand how long 4 hours is to drive one way....

Why waste time in bars with skanks when you can open yourself up to the entire world by using the biggest most attractive hotspot.. the intarweb! I just gave my phone number to a beautiful woman in another country, works for me!

I read all the "she's a man" and "No way" stuff and, frankly, I'm disgusted. Let's see - in this day and age, people can ACTUALLY talk and see each other, even if they're half a world away, and in different time zones. I know plenty of people in long-distance relationships, and most of them work - they get together eventually and it's great. You know why it works? because those people are mature... and the distance makes some things very clear. If the OP is stupid enough to give this girl up (despite the fact he feels she's different and better than what he's seen so far) he deserves no better.

Because there's nothing wrong with online dating. MySpace has a couple million users around her age. And they're normal people, for the most part, because you can pick the creepy ones up because they have terrible pictures. Online dating is convenient and almost fun for uber-connected 18-21 year olds.
 
Hotchic and whoever she married didn't even talk on the phone until AFTER they were engaged... Don't worry, nothing will make you look like a loser in comparison.
