I have a date tonight with a girl I have been seeing for about a week.

This is actually our first official date.

She started drinking at 12:00 this afternoon (her day off was the excuse) ... and has called me drunk at work 3 times already.

I can only imagine how much fun this date will be

I'm not worried about her inhibitions...we have already gone as far as it gets.

I just wanted to spend a nice quiet evening with her, and maybe get to know each other better. We even talked about having a nice quiet night together.
 
I see where you're coming from polm, don't worry...any girl (or guy, hell) that's going to start drinking at noon on a Tuesday is pretty pathetic in my book. And if she's drunk enough to call you 3 times, she's not just "having a drink"...

then again, I tend to get stoned on my days off. But I tell myself that it isn't as bad as getting trashed all day.

It isn't at all about thinking I am BETTER than her. I know I am not...

I just don't think I am compatible with a heavy drinker, and she is started to appear to me to be a heavy drinker. Maybe I am jumping to conclusions.

Then again...I am also kind of pissed cuz I wanted to take her to a really nice place...maybe get some wine, etc. Now I am not too interested, and knowing the state she will be in...a quiet peaceful resturaunt probably won't be too exciting to her.
