Hey, someone got to the core of this earlier.. Let's say I'm in a similar boat (or was).. I think Anton Levay (sp?) called those kinds of people psychic vampires.. or something like that.. they feed off of you and your need to "heal them" and you feed off of the high you get from being someone's savior.. in h.s. I was seriously into goths and had 3 such "relationships" - relationships that ended when they found a cute guitarist to hook up with, eliminating you from the cycle.. sigh.. i'm going to go eat some ice cream
