YAGT: Why do women tell each other EVERYTHING?

It's annoying and you can't trust women with any information because they'll tell all their friends!

Thoughts/Comments?

One time I had a date set up with a girl that I work with. There was another girl I work with who I really wanted to go out with even more. She agreed to go out with me and I canceled my date with the first girl (politely of course). Well, after a really nice date she went back and told the first girl that I canceled the date because I had another date with her set up. She said her reasoning for telling her was because she felt "guilty".

After that they both acted snotty to me whenever I saw them.

I know it wasn't the coolest thing to do, but I thought I tried to handle it pretty honorably, I don't ever try to be a player or anything like that.

Don't trust women to keep anything secret from another woman.

you should have done the thing where you take them both to the same restaurant and keep on "going to the bathroom" or "making phone calls"

jesus. I know exactly what you're talking about. No information is safe with women. It always gets disseminated. every weekend I hear all sorts of rumors about the sex lives of my gf's coworkers, my gf's sisters co-workers, their aunt. I mean it's just crazy. Enough with everyone else's business-

as hard as it may be for you guys to believe, my girlfriend never tells anyone anything, and its not like ive been dating her for 3 days. we have been together almost 2 years, and she has never told anyone (well probably a time or two, she is a girl at heart and cant totally help it) anything, and all the juicy stuff that i know she is just itching to say to someone, ive never heard it from another person. and trust me again, my friends would DEFINITELY tell me if they heard something that she said, and not to be good friends. strictly to make fun of me for it...lol


on the other hand, 99.9% of women are blood sucking biatches (sorry ladies, this is a generalization, sure, but nonetheless it is all too true) when it comes to gossiping. i have 4 older sisters and its not like they are different than any other girl...all they used to do was talk about each other, and when their friends came over, they did the same thing. girls at school...same story.

I work in an office of 8 people including me, 7 of which are women. Women bond on the foul subjects of others it seems, they somehow feel closer to eachother, and better about themselfs at the same time. They also blow up on issues that don't even need discussion. Just today a lady in the office couldn't place a gift order with macy's online and she bitched about it for over an hour to another lady, the bitching involved possible problems, possible fixes and the constantly repeated phrase " I mean my god, this is just unbelievable, I have other things I need to be doing, I cant be dealing with this right now ".

Don't even get me started on Excel spreadsheets......

He's right. Its not like we're talking trash or anything. We just have an extreme need to talk about everything and confirm that its normal. But its not as if we go talking to strangers, for me anyways its only with the closest of friends, and they are very private conversations.

Maybe some guys... but not my circle of friends I do not know their sexual escapades or "dirt" on people.
