Get some chinese or pizza delivered...and make it a movie night. This would allow the date to progress faster and solve the no-car issue.

Hawthorne Lane (http://www.hawthornelane.com/) awesome food and the chive biscuits that they serve are just awesome, just those alone make the trip worth it. It's near the SF Moma near Moscone Center.

stinking rose is pretty solid. cliff house is another good choice, especially if you go near sunset.. although that may be trickier to get to. momo or moma was decent also, across the street form pac-bell park on the embarcadero.
