YAGT: What other games do you recommend besides the one I have listed? Please explain what its about also.

I know gamecube threads are beaten down, I searched and found two other threads asking for games but I didn't get too much out of them.

I missed out on the Plat Gamecube Bundle (or did I?)

So far I think I'm going to get

Super Smash Brothers Melee
Paper Mario
Legend of Zelda Windwaker

Any other games recommended?

Also, if you can find it, the promo disc for Zelda is nice - it has all the old stuff on it.

Does it have the old ocarina of time, as in the FULL version? what else is on it?

Paper Mario is a good one, I've been playing that some when I can.

I also heard great things about Zelda

I just bought Pikmin 2
haven't tried it yet, but it got really good ratings.

Is Paper Mario like Super Mario RPG by any chance? That was by far the MOST ENTERTAINING game I have ever played in my life (FOR SNES)

Final Fantasy Chronicles isn't bad just don't expect your regular Final Fantasy game because it isn't what you'll get. Think Secret of Mana mixed with a Final Fantasy theme. You might also want to consider Pikmin (1 & 2) along with Eternal Darkness.

what about Tales of Symphonia or whatever its called? Basically I just want 1 RPG, (besides paper mario) that isn't as intricate and hard to beat as the FF series (i.e. on PS), does Tales of Symphonia fit this?

Pikmin/Pikmin 2 are both awesome games. It's just cool to raise an army and kick the shlt out of giant bugs.

Gamecube is great for cross-platform games like Madden too, the big exception is if you want to play online.

the promo disc for Zelda does have the full version of Ocarina of Time, and other Zelda games.

rpgs- I would read reviews of Skies of Arcadia, Tales of Symphonia, Summoner:a Godess Reborn to see which fits you.

Pikmin and Pikmin 2 are great, kind of strategy games but really unique.
Viewtiful Joe is cool.
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King is a lot of fun.
I like Animal crossing and Harvest Moon too.
NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona is a good racing game.
Star Wars Rebel Strike is fun, we like the co-op version of Rogue Leader that comes with it.
Metroid Prime is an incredible game.
Bomberman is another fun party type game.
