That is the ultimate sacrifice for a man to make, imho. The epitome of dedication and commitment.

And if that doesn't show your girl that she should be confident and secure in your relationship, nothing will.

It should not be a big deal. But I am older and stuff like that is no sweat for me.

Caring for someone else's child is NOT the epitome of dedication and commitment. Its tough to do, but it could just mean he's more desperate and couldn't find a better situation to be in, so he's logical and has played with the hand he was dealt.

You've never been a single mother. ;)

It is fairly easy for a gal to tell if the guy is there for the sex and is putting up with the rugrats or if he genuinely is making a commitment to the two of them.

Calling the kid his daughter and being so overwhemingly proud of being able to take her to soccer practice definately denotes that latter.

:)

It could, but it's not.... being desperate has never been a part of my love life. I'm an adventerous, physically fit and in shape, confident, strong, good looking guy (not model material) with a fun personality. I get along with all kinds of ppl from many different backgrounds and cultures. I chose who I wanted to be with and am happy with my decision and the fact that my S.O. choose me as well.

Everyone has to play with the hand they've been dealt the best they can... if by implying I've been dealt a weak hand because I chose to be with someone who has a child well than I guess I just know how to play a weak hand well cause I scored 2 loves and get twice the attention at home than others do! ;)

Well my life has had some interesting moments:

* I was in a gang
* Sold drugs
* I've been locked up a couple of times
* I turned my life around
* I volunteered in a national youth program 3,400+ hours (Americorps)
* I became a case-worker for at-risk youth in high crime areas
* My father who left before I was born re-married.... his wife ended up being my College * Algebra Professor! :Q
* I've been to Hollywood to start up a youth program called "Hope in Hollywood" with Youth Advocates and lived in a church (even though I'm not a Christian) for 1 year right off of Hollywood Blvd next to the Capital Records Tower

Life can be so damn interesting... :)
Can't wait to see what else life has in store for me.
