Well, I'm not single anymore.

I started a new relationship with my next door neighbor, she lives right below me. Jen moved in around June this year and we were friends and it just clicked the past week or so.

It's really cool, if you guys remember I was in a long term relationship (2 1/2 years), engaged, and then she cheated on me and moved in with the guy right after we broke up. It killed me, but I got over it pretty well due to my good friends and ATOT.

The past week has been great. We have just been spending a lot of time together, going to parties and having so much fun. I haven't had this much fun in....gosh, I don't remember the last time I have been this happy. That empty feeling has went away, I was kind of depressed a couple weeks ago plus work and school were eating me up.

I'm gonna definitely learn from my past experience and just take it slow and go with the flow. I just wanted to share a positive YAGT thread with ATOT, which is rather uncommon. 😉

Oh noes!

The only thing I see about this living arrangement is that we will see each other all of the time.

I talked to her yesterday about this and I told her if she needed her own time or I needed my own time, just let me know and I will let you know. She totally understood and agreed with me fully.

It's funny, I came into work yesterday and my co-worker is like "Why the fvck do you have a smile on your face?! What do you get laid or something this weekend?!" I said, "Damn straight." He busted out laughing.
 
I hate to be a downer but haven't you hear the term don't Sh!t where you sleep. Getting involved with a neighbor can have some rather negative impacts. But hey best o luck.

Yep, totally understand that and I talked to her about this already. That's why I want to take it slow and see where it goes. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't. She is really laid back so she understood too. But I think it'll be fine. 🙂

Yeah, having a gf that close to you is kind of de facto living together. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definately not conducive to "taking it slow". In any case, congrats on finding someone nice.
