The thing that always gets me going about women, and i have seethis alot, is:

She says: Lets go out for dinner.
I say: Ok, where would you like to go?
She: I don't care, you decide.
I: Let's go to Friday's
She: I don't feel like Fridays.
I: How about Timberlodge?
She: not really.
I: Perkins?
She: No
I: Ok, where would you like to go?
She: I dont care, you decide.

Could go on the whole night till you say the one she wants to go to.

Oh well, my venting is done.

I think (if you peel away the layers of stupidity and illogic that surround female motives) the gist of it is that they want you to forcefully decide. This is seen as assertive and thus masculine.

Lead. Don't let them pull this crap.

"We're going to Friday's"
"I don't want to go to Friday's"
"Tough. We're going to Friday's or nothing at all. Respect my authoritah."

Yet females want equal control/say in decision-making in the relationship. Almost as idiotic as the "do I look fat in this?' loophole. Damned if you lie, damned if you say the truth.

"You're just saying that to get in my over-sized pants!"

You know, sometimes I enjoy being single :p. Although it's perpetuated by my elusive search for the great logical woman. But I shall dawn my Jeff Corwin hat and tacky fake Australian accent and be on my way.

No no no... they say they want equality... Just like they say they want intelligent sensitive men when what they really want is a 5th grade dropout Harley-riding 3-toothed chimp. Women are accomplished liars; they even believe themselves. You have to ignore what they say while pretending to be interested 24/7.

Same thing happened to me last weekend. After telling me she was Sooooo tired, she didn't want to make any decisions, I told her where we were going and she freaked!

I let that slide but then, on the way home, driving her german convertible on the interstate, she panicked when I didn't line up behind 1,000 cars to exit at our stop. Instead I moved up and found an opening near the exit. She began to scream and grabbed my arm and started crying.

I thought I might pull over and walk the rest of the way but I drove her back and then dumped her.

psycho b!tch.

My wife does this. Usually you can just say "fine, I'm deciding, we're going here", and either she'll be fine with it, or she'll cave and say where she wants to go.

you don't say "Lets go here ... lets go there."

you be a man about it, get your girl in the car, and just drive the car there.

she wants you to make the decision on your own and man up, not be a pushover.

your conversation should go like this ...

She says: Lets go out for dinner.
I say: Ok, where would you like to go?
She: I don't care, you decide.
I: Let's go to Friday's
She: I don't feel like Fridays.
I: I don't care, that's where we're going.
She: I don't feel like it that much.
I: Look you told me to pick a place, now I picked a place, now get in the car and lets go.
She: OMG YOU ARE SO HOT YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS! LET ME GIVE YOU ROAD HEAD ON THE WAY TO TGIF!

My wife does this, too.

I just tell her "no, you decide. If you don't pick a place then we're not going anywhere and I'll just put a frozen pizza in the oven."

I get especially mad when I decide to cook us supper, make something, and then she says "I don't want that, I'll just make something for myself." But I better not pull that on her when she makes supper!!!!!!

My wife does this to me. I think in the future I'm going to just decide and if she doesn't like that, she'll just have to deal with it.

Not that this would ever happen because I don't cook but if my wife did that I would be pissed.

Haha sooooo true. Just did this last weekend. Friday night and the girlfriend hadn't eaten dinner yet. I had a light dinner so I wasn't starving, but she wants food.
Me: "Ok where do you want to go?"
Her: "Panera"
I go put on jeans and a shirt.
Me: "Ready to go?"
Her: "In a minute." (She's doing something on my computer, myspace, Live Journal, I dunno what)
So I lay down on my bed for a while and after 15 minutes ask if she's ready yet, meh not ready yet. Now it's thirty minutes later it's like 8:30 and I don't think Panera is open late.
Me: "We gotta go if you want Panera. I don't think they're open later than 9."
She ignores me. Ok it's 8:45 now, can't go to Panera they'll probably be closed. So after the whole where to go debate again, she decides Wendy's. So like a freaking hour later we have finally left to get food that I didn't even want in the first place, ARGH!!!
